the light 

your light

we filled this room with our light

so bright that even the deepest of dark

lit up entire skies 

with my head rested firmly on your shoulder

you carried me through 

cradled my body in your arms

as your mouth pressed upon mine

our souls at peace in knowing what is real again

and as day drew to close

i grew aware we found a love.
